1. The Beaches

I would say Cornwall has the best beaches in the UK and up there with the best in the world. Long golden sandy beaches with clear blue waters like you would find in a tropical climate. The best for surfing in the UK with some of the top surfing schools in the world.  The landscape very's from sand dunes with long grass that the kid's love to play in. To the dramatic rugged cliff's with the Atlantic waves crashing below that make for stunning photo's or breathtaking cliff top walks.  Our favorites are Mawgan Porth Beach, Rock Beach, Perranporth Beach, Porthmeor Beach, St Ives Harbour Beach, Polkerris Beach, Mother Ivey’s Bay and so many more. 2. RESTAURANTS & FOOD DELIGHTS

Obviously there is the famous  Cornish pasties, Clotted cream tea's jam on first don't forget and sea side fish’n’chips.  Food lovers also have there pick when it comes to first class restaurants as well.  Cornwall has some of the best local produce to be found anywhere in the world.  From fresh fish caught straight from the sea to your plate,  fresh fruit and veg grown throughout the Cornwall, and some of the best produced cattle and livestock is reared in Cornwall.  This is what makes Cornwall a restaurateurs dream and that's why so many top chefs are opening restaurants in Cornwall.   With Rick Stein with his The Seafood Restaurant being the first celebrity chef to make a name for Cornwall starting in the 1970's and still one of the top for fish in Cornwall. He Is now joined by a host of them such as Paul Ainsworth, Nathan Outlaw, Jamie Oliver. My personal favorite is Paul Ainsworth Number 6 in Padstow.

3. Fun for all the Family

Cornwall is fun for all the family any age young and old.  It has something for everyone but not just stuff to suit the individual need's. There so much you can do in Cornwall that bring's the whole family together with out spending lot's of money.  Some of the thing's we enjoy the most in Cornwall with our family are free.  Like going to the beach,  going up rough tor on Bodmin moor,  going for a walk at golitha falls,  going to little fishing villages such as Port Isaac where Doc Martin is filmed, Padstow or our favorite Boscastle.  Me and my wife, two children and two dog's love to go there.  And have done years.  From when my children where little to even now as teenagers of 13 and 15.   We love the picturesque harbour, rugged coast line near by Nectan’s Glen and Boscastle farm shop where you will find the most wholesome food and delights Cornwall has to offer.   If I  was going to recommend anywhere for some lunch this wold be the place.  There is also a host of other attractions to visit in Cornwall,  Eden project, Land's End, Flambards Theme Park, Camel Creek Adventure Park, Bodmin Jail.

4. Cornwall's micro-climate

Cornwall is the most south-westerly region in the UK, the Gulf Stream runs right around that's why Cornwall has mild maritime climate. This give's Cornwall much milder temperatures and more hours of sunshine than any other county in the UK. The gulf Stream  also bring's warm air and almost tropical conditions.  You will find Palm trees thriving and other sub tropical plants.  Because of this climate you will find many  successful vineyards, such as Camel Valley. Also beautiful gardens to visit like Lost Gardens of Heligan, Glendurgan and many more.

There is such a buzz about Cornwall and there seems to be new Events and festivals each year and some really good ones as well.  Eden Sessions being one of top one's with beg name acts hitting there stage each year.  The setting can make any band seem majestic it is defiantly my favourite place to see live music.  Royal Cornwall Show the pride of Cornwall it started as an agriculture show.  Now you can see anything from live music to stunt shows, car shows, local markets and lets not forget royalty. We have many festival's in Cornwall with Boardmasters Festival being the big one. Some others include Rock Oyster Festival, Port Eliot Festival, Leopallooza Festival, Padstow Christmas Festival there is so many more but my favourite is The Little Orchard Cider & Music Festival.

There is so much more about Cornwall

Few more things that I love are the myths and legend's, the history and heritage, the arts and culture.  Cornwall has so much to offer to all ages.
